I remain anchored here in San Evaristo waiting for the Norther to blow out so I can continue north in the Sea of Cortez. The evening was fairly windy in the anchorage with fairly extensive clouds overhead. This morning the wind is blowing 12 to 14 with gusts to 20 knots. I am now sharing the anchorage with two other boats. The catamaran that arrived yesterday departed this morning for La Paz. They are going south so the Norther is less of an issue for them.
I listened to the Amigo, and Sonrisa nets in the morning. David from “Victoria” came over at 7:45 to listen to the weather report. He has a new table top Grundig SSB receiver but has not been able to make it work so has not been able to listen to weather reports. The Sonrisa net is forecasting strong Northers again today. Monday may be better and Tuesday is definitely better.
